Introducing the Javanese Gamelan to Our Students

As an IB World School, we urge our students to be curious, compassionate, and respectful of cultural diversity. Our goal is to create learners who are actively engaged with the world around them.

We have exposed our students to the Javanese Gamelan for the past two days. They learn about its history and how to play traditional Javanese music. For some, this is their first time holding and playing Gamelan. It was an exciting experience!
