Have you seen our soccer fields? We are very proud to say that we have one of the best soccer fields in town. Students use this field to do some sports activities during the Physical and Health Education classes.
The soccer fields, mini-farms, lakes, and botanical gardens are some of the facilities that we provide for our students and the YIS community. We hope that by using these facilities, students will be happier at school and will always feel fresh during their studies.

After a long end-of-the-year holiday, we are recharged and ready to give the best education to our students. Discussing the lesson plans, upcoming events, schedules, and receiving inputs from other colleagues are some of the things that we did today.

As the One-and-Only IB World School in Yogyakarta which offers the official IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP), we are proud to report that our school has passed the first 5 years evaluation (re-accreditation) by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), with an outstanding result.
Through this evaluation process that took place at the beginning of November, YIS gained a deeper understanding of both the aspects of the program that are being implemented effectively and the aspects that need further development. With great pleasure, we saw tremendous support from parents, teachers, staff, and students during the interview sessions with the evaluating team. We are content that YIS is able to provide the best education for the students and a conducive learning atmosphere which is supported by very solid stakeholders.

The YIS End-of-the-Year Concert which was held last Friday was a huge success. We were taken to Neverland, a beautiful island full of magic and wonder, where we can see the adventure of Peter Pan, Wendy, and her little brothers.
